Large room which can be used for meetings, receptions or parties

The room will hold a maximum of 100 people for a standing reception or 72 people seated at tables. Space can be set up earlier if available

Separate washrooms for men and women as well as an accessible washroom

Area to hang up coats at the entrance

Large kitchen area with stove, fridge and microwave. Kitchen has a window to main room for service and can be opened if needed

Glasses, dishes and cutlery are to be supplied by the client.

Large parking area for approximately 60 cars

5 minute walk from the Patterson skytrain station
PLEASE NOTE:

If alcohol is to be served, a liquor licence is required and needs to be obtained by the client from the BC Liquor Control and Licensing Branch. A designated person in charge is required to hold a valid "Serving it Right" certificate.

A Special Events Insurance policy must be obtained by the renter naming the South Burnaby Lawn Bowling Club and the City of Burnaby as additional insureds.

No smoking or vaping of any substance in the building or on the grounds near the building at any time.

Our clubhouse is a scent free zone as in accordance with the City of Burnaby.
Rental Cost
Half Day (2-4 hours) * $250.00
(allows 1 hour for clean up)
Full Day (5-6 hours)* $450.00
(allows 1 hour for cleanup)
Full Day & Evening (10-12 hours)* $750.00
(allows 1 hour for clean up and vacating the premises no later than 9 pm as the parks board closes the gates)
*These bookings can include a 1-1/2 hour lawn bowls activity for an additional cost of $10/person. This includes the use of our greens, equipment as well as training and support.
Fees are subject to change.
Damage deposit of $100 is required with the application in conjunction with the Special Events Insurance Policy and the liquor license to confirm your booking of the facilities.
Final payment is required 14 days prior to the function. We accept cheques or e-transfer to southburnabylbc@gmail.com
