THE BEGINNER PROGRAM

LEARN TO BOWL

Start with 4 Learn to Bowl lessons. One of our club coaches will teach you the basics of lawn bowling. The class fee of $30 will be deducted from your membership when you join.

PONY LEAGUE

The pony league is tailored for new lawn bowlers in their 1st, 2nd or 3rd year of bowling. It helps novice and intermediate bowlers to practice and build their skills.

CLUB LEAGUES

Join other club leagues. Most club leagues are open and welcome new bowlers. Teams are chosen at each session so bowlers can meet and play with a variety of people.

MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS

As a 1st year member, you can use club bowls for free. In subsequent years, you can rent club bowls for $20/year (if not used by a 1st year bowler). Lockers are also available to store your bowls or other equipment.

LEARN FROM YOUR CLUB

As you gain experience, you will have the opportunity to take on different roles on your lawn bowling team. Other members are always willing to help you improve your skills and make the most of your lawn bowling journey.

PARTICIPATE IN EVENTS

Our club has many club and inter-club events through the season. These are often combined with meals and celebrations as well. Find out what you can join in on.
